Images

A browser style can include any number of images for use in display of the genealogy data. You can add an image to any subclass of ButtonCell cells by setting its image property. The property is set to the name of the image (without any extension).

Once an image is added to a cell, you can determine its size with #imageWidth$ and #imageHeight$ read-only variables or change its display size with imageWidth and imageHeight properties. If the cell has both text and an image, you can position the image relative to the text with the imagePosition property.

Importing Images

To import an image into a browser style:

1. Choose the "Template→Import Image..." menu command.
2. Select an image file. Many formats are supported. If the GEDitCOM Editor cannot extract an image from the selected file, you will be notified and nothing will be imported.
3. The image will appear in the list of images using the file name. Double click the name to change it, but the name cannot contain any spaces.
