Using Tabs
Using Tabs
You can set any number of tab locations in a window. The commands to create tabs are
ClearTabs <#1>,<#2>,...
SetTab #1,<#2>,...
where
- #1, #2, ... are tab stop locations in pixels from the left edge of the window. If tab stops are specified in a ClearTabs command, just those tab stops will be removed. If no tab stops are specified, all tabs will be removed.
To use tabs for positioning, use the Tab command:
Tab <#1>
where
- #1 is an optional number of tab stops; if it is omitted, it is assumed to be 1. The number can be positive or negative to tab to the right or to the left (0 will be to go back to nearest previous tab, -1 to the tab before that, etc.).
Notes
- Changes to tab stops made in a template will be passed on to all templates called by that template. When the template ends, however, the tabs stops will be restored to their original settings.
- You can also use tabs to set the width of a cell by using the tabwidth property.
- A tab stop will start the next cell and the tab location and will therefore override the
#cellSkip setting.
- This command will close the previous cell. No cell properties can be set until a new cell as created.
