The HideExcess command hides remaining data in the current structure:
HideExcess
By default, GEDitCOM II, will implicitly execute a ShowAll all command and the end of every template. This default process automatically shows all data in the structure. The HideExcess command stops this default behavior and therefore hides the remaining data. The data will stay in the file, it just will not be displayed to the user.
HideExcess command can be anywhere in the template.
