Export Command
Export Command
The Export command is used to write text to a file:
Export #1,#2
where
- #1 is text content to be written to the file.
- #2 is full path to the file. The file will be overwritten if it already exists. An error will occur if the path name is not valid (i.e., the parent folder does not exist) or if you do not have permission to write to that folder.
Notes
- The
Export command for GEDitCOM II requires version 3.1.
- This command has many uses for internal scripts. It has almost no uses when writing browser styles.
