Utah Laminates - Laminated Plate Theory Software |
This application does laminated plate theory analysis for composite plates. Its distinguishing feature is a user-friendly graphical interface for inputting the laminate structure This program was originally developed in 1987. It has recently been updated to version 4.0 on, for the first time, posted on the Internet. You can visit the Utah Laminates Home Page to read more about the program and download a copy. This program is shareware. |
JANFEA - Two-Dimensional Finite Element and Material Point Method Software |
JANFEA is a full-featured finite element package for 2D finite element and material point method calculations. It now runs native on MacOS X and can do large meshes in relatively short amounts of time. Two particularly powerful features are script control and extensive color graphics capabilities. This software is excellent for both research and education. It has been in development for over ten years and grows every time I need a new feature. For more details and downloads, see the JANFEA Home Page. This program is free educational software. |
Lattice - Educational Software for Polymers |
Lattice is educational software that can be used to simulate polymer chains on a tetrahedral lattice and calculate average properties like end-to-end distance and radius of gyration. You can read about this software on the Lattice Home Page. This program is free educational software. |
