Download Extension

This extension will search for available extensions on geditcom.com and let you select one for downloading and installation into GEDitCOM II. You must be connected to the internet to use this extension. The process is:

1. Choose "Download Extension" from the Extensions menu.
2. The available extensions (by category) will appear in a list. Choose one to install.
3. To install, click "To User Extensions" or "To System Extensions" to install in the User or System domain of GEDitCOM II. You normally use the System domain unless you plan to change the extension using GEDitCOM Editor.

Once installed, the new extension will appear in the Extensions menu and will be ready to use. You can use the "DocumentationÉ" menu command to learn more details about the new extension.
