This section describes an older Date Calculator application that is still available for downloading. This application has an inferior interface to the premier Date Calculator. It was written using a development system (Real Basic) that is less powerful then Apple's "Cocoa" environment used for the premier Date Calculator. It is made available for downloading because it can be used by those that do not have access to the latest MacOS X system. This old version comes in three varieties that will run on any Macintosh and even on Windows systems. It can be used as one date calculation solution until you upgrade from MacOS Classic to MacOS X or switch from Windows to MacOS X.

- This Date Calculator was written using
REALBasic 2.1.1 and uses a translation of the date conversion utilities written by Scott E. Lee into BASIC.

- Fixed bug in converting Julian dates in the year 1 BC.
- Verified all translated date algorithms for every day within the supported year
ranges.
