a graphical user interface for the Unix grep command. You can use it to quickly search text files
or a group of text files on your computer and report the results various ways. Searching can be done using
Unix regular expressions.

NairnFEAMPM is a full-featured computational mechanics package for 2D, static finite element analysis (FEA) and for 2D, dynamic material point method (MPM) calculations. This Cocoa Macintosh application is a graphical front end for research software in FEA and MPM. It controls the calculations and provides many tools for visualization of the results. It is a new application that is replacing the previous JANFEA application described below. This free software is useful for both research and education. JANFEA is a Carbon Macintosh application for computation mechanics package for 2D, static finite element analysis (FEA) and 2D, dynamic material point method MPM calculations. Two particularly powerful features are script control and extensive color graphics capabilities. This application is not in active development. It is being replaced by the NairnFEAMPM applicaiton listed above.
This free software is useful for both research and education.
